New Rules for Correction of Birth Registration Online
To apply for a birth registration correction, go to bdris.gov.bd/br/correction. Enter your birth registration number here to search. After that, upload the required documents with the correct information and submit the application. A print copy of the application and any necessary proofs should be submitted to the office responsible for birth registration.
You must submit the online birth registration correction fee after submitting your correction application. Please submit a copy of your payment challan along with your application.

Step 1: Visit the birth registration website
Visit https://bdris.gov.bd/br/correction first. Click on the “Birth Registration Data Correction Application” option. Below is a picture to notice.

You must contact the concerned birth registration office/upazila office if your registration number is not 17 digits in order to obtain your birth registration certificate online.

Step 3: Select the registration office
You must select the registration office under which the birth certificate was registered and include the address of the union parishad or municipality. To verify an office, select your country, division, district, city corporation or upazila, and then municipality/union. Click on “Next”.
